Jonathan Goddard co-founded The Madison Group, Inc. in 1992. Since the company's inception Jonathan has conducted an extensive number of searches within a range of industries including; instrumentation and controls, capital equipment, chemicals and energy. His clients have ranged from venture capital backed start-ups to fully developed public companies. Over the past five years, Jonathan has developed numerous clients within emerging technology markets, such as green and clean technologies.
Over the past 25 years, Jonathan has enjoyed a successful career within the search industry. He carries a strong reputation for building long-term search relationships with his clients, and for his ability to help them attract the highest caliber candidates. Prior to launching The Madison Group, Jonathan spent seven years in the search industry, where he served in the following roles, candidate developer, account manager, and director of business development.
Jonathan is a graduate of Providence College with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He has lived for the past 23 years in Acton, Massachusetts, with his wife Susan and their four children.

Joe Flaherty co-founded The Madison Group, Inc. in 1992. Working out of Connecticut, Joe now focuses on filling executive level positions for clients in the insurance industry. Clients range from regional companies to Fortune 500 Companies. Using the Partnership Search methodology, Joe has successfully completed hundreds of search assignments. He is known for his ability to quickly generate high quality candidates. He has a reputation for outpacing the industry when it comes to percentage of searches completed and percentage of placed candidates still employed after 18 months.
Prior to starting the Madison Group, Joe worked in the executive search business and held roles that included Researcher, Recruiter/Consultant, Account Manager, and Business Development Manager. It is this in-depth, cross-functional experience that gives him the ability to effectively manage the full search process; from understanding the client's needs to final hire and follow through.
Joe is a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, MA.

Matthew joined The Madison Group as an Executive Recruiter after an earlier career in the financial services industry. Since joining the firm in 1997, he has performed an extensive number of searches that span across multiple industries. Specific search work has included visible positions in Financial Services, Energy, Biotech, Defense, and Advanced Materials. He is recognized for his ability to identify, select, and attract the highest caliber of individuals for his clients.
As an accomplished search professional, Matthew has partnered with venture capital backed companies as well as Fortune 500 Corporations. Recent examples of searches performed include Chief Operating Officer, VP of Plant Operations, VP of Sales & Marketing, General Manager and Director of Product Management.
Matthew is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, MA and lives with his wife and two children in Westford MA.
